Mount Etna and The Greek Theater in Taormina, Sicily

I completed this painting sometime ago and just posted it today on Fine Art America.

Sicily is a favorite vacation destination. The sun, the food, the people. My grandfather grew up in the town of Pedara on the volcano, Mount Etna. I have some very sweet memories of my visits there.

Happy New Year!

Jigsaw Puzzles, Photography and Road Trips occupy my time these days. I paint in oil and use pastels in my drawing. I am sharing my work and adventures on this blog.

2017 had its ups and downs: down involved a broken left wrist and right ankle (at the same time!) and I didn't have a summer to speak of. But an autumn road trip from Seattle to Los Angeles was one of our best vacations ever. 2018 should be much, much better! So Happy New Year it is!

I am concentrating on my photography with my Olympus SLR and my Samsung s7 Edge, working in Photoshop on my desktop, and Snapseed on my phone and Lightroom on my iPad. I give you my Best Nine on Instagram from 2017:

Blizzard at Coney Island
