Stormy March

The month of March, 2018 has served up three major snowstorms in the first two weeks!
The blizzard that coincided with the full moon caused major coastal flooding which wiped away much the dunes at Salisbury Beach in Massachusetts.

The storm last week created a huge swell with bright green waves and left a residue of a neon green foam which I have not been able to figure out what it is. Is it algae or antifreeze?.

In the falling snow, it was a strange, but beautiful sight.

Winter Weather

We had a snowstorm in New England this week.
Schools cancelled, the roads were messy and the plows were everywhere.

Photographing snow can be tricky and best done under a cloudy sky that doesn't break for the sun. We don't have to go far for a winter wonderland when the snow is still white.

These photos were taken and edited on my
Samsung s7Edge in Pro Mode, which allows for capturing RAW images.

I edited the photos with the free Snapseed app right on my phone.

Sometimes it seems like we live inside of a Snow Globe!

Blizzard at Coney Island

There is something apocalyptic about being at an ocean side amusement park at the height of a blizzard.
